Parramatta Eagles vs South Coast Flame FC

Tuesday 28th June

Melita Stadium

U/20: 6pm

First Grade: 8pm

With our first grade and U/20 having the bye round this weekend, they will head up to Melita Stadium to take on Parramatta Eagles.

In the first grade reverse fixture from just three weeks ago, Flame’s first grade notched up a 2-1 win whilst the U/20’s had their momentum halted after a 2-1 loss.

Flame’s first grade currently sit eighth, while the U/20’s continue to impress this season as they sit comfortably in the top three. A win against fifth placed Parramatta next Tuesday will solidify that position.

SENIOR WOMEN

South East Phoenix vs South Coast Flame

Sunday 26th June

South Nowra Sports Complex

U/20: 1:15pm

First Grade: 3:15pm

The two South Coast sides do battle when South East Phoenix FC takes on South Coast Flame FC at South Nowra Football Complex on Sunday afternoon.

It was a busy weekend for South East Phoenix FC after their pair of games against Inter Lions which saw them win 3-1 on Saturday afternoon. South Coast Flame FC played out a 1-1 draw against Nepean FC on Saturday afternoon.

South East Phoenix FC showed in their two games against Inter that the regional side aren’t a pushover against anyone. Madison Cater kept up her goal scoring adventures with goals in both contests and look to add further on the weekend.

For South Coast Flame FC, they will want to reverse the trend of the first meeting between the two where they lost 5-2 at home. The Flame do have plenty of goalscoring weapons including Rachelle Wang and Jessica Cruickshank to help them turn the tide.

The U/20’s had their biggest win of the year last weekend in an 8-0 drubbing of Nepean FC.  They will look to do the double over the Phoenix this year after a 2-1 win in the reverse fixture.

YOUTH BOYS

Bonnyrigg White Eagles vs South Coast Flame

Sunday 26th June

Bonnyrigg Sports Centre

U/13: 8:30am

U/14: 10:05am

U/15: 11:40am

U/16: 1:15pm

U/18: 3pm

The U/13’s will look to continue their push for finals football this season, as they sit just three points off second place with a game in hand. They will fancy their chances against 14th placed Bonnyrigg.

The U/14’s need a big result against fifth placed Bonnyrigg if they want to make a push for finals. With games in hand, a win here as well as catch-up wins could see them as high as sixth.

It is a massive contest in the U/15’s with the fourth placed Flame facing fifth placed Bonnyrigg. Both sides will want to break away from the chasing pack, so expect a close contest in this one.

The U/16’s will fancy their chances against last-placed Bonnyrigg, with the Flame looking to shrink the gap between the top and bottom half of the table.

In an extremely tight U/18’s competition, where fourth to 12th are separated by just six points, the Flame will be looking for a massive result against fifth placed Bonnyrigg here. A win here could become vital come the end of the season, in an unbelievably tight competition.

YOUTH GIRLS

South East Phoenix vs South Coast Flame

Sunday 26th June

South Nowra Sports Complex

U/14: 8:20am

U/15: 9:55am

U/16: 11:25am

The U/14’s will look to continue their decent run of form over the last month, winning two from their last three games. Last time out, they went down against South East in a high-scoring affair.

The U/15’s will be determined to put last week behind them for the local derby this weekend. Their last fixture against South East ended in heartbreak, as South East nabbed a late goal in a 1-0 win.

The U/16’s are looking to build from their massive win against Nepean last week, taking on a South East side in which they drew 2-2 with in the reverse fixture.
