This Easter weekend will see our senior men, women and youth girls sides return to the pitch after not taking the field last weekend due to bye-rounds and wash-outs.
SENIOR MEN
Prospect United vs South Coast Flame
William Lawson Reserve
Sunday 17th April
U/20’s: 5pm
First Grade: 7pm
South Coast Flame will look to notch up their first win of the season this Sunday evening when they make the trip up to Prospect to take on Prospect United.
The Flame are coming off two losses and a draw before playing the bye round last weekend.
Prospect on the other hand are starting the season strongly with two wins and a draw, sitting in fourth spot with a few games in hand on sides around them.
This is looking like a must-win game for our first grade, in order to stay in touch with the top five and avoid the top-half of the table breaking away early.
Our U/20’s will look to claim their second win of the season after two weeks off. The squad has suffered two narrow losses by a goal each game, and will look to grab the three points here against a Prospect side yet to earn a point so far.
SENIOR WOMEN
South Coast Flame vs Blacktown City
Ian McLennan Park
Saturday 16th April
U/20’s: 1:15pm
First Grade: 3:15pm
South Coast Flame come off a week’s break in the women’s division with their clash against Mount Druitt washed out last weekend.
The Flame will look for a win this weekend in order to stay in touch with the top five. They face a Blacktown City side who are just one point behind with a game in hand over the Flame.
The U/20’s fixture is in a similar position to the first grade fixture, with Blacktown City one point behind the Flame with a game in hand. A win for the Flame here will have them just four points away from the top five.
YOUTH BOYS
No game this weekend for the Youth Boys
YOUTH GIRLS
South Coast Flame vs Blacktown City
Ian McLennan Park
Saturday 16th April
U/14’s: 8:30am
U/15’s: 10am
U/16’s: 11:30am
Our youth girls return home to the Furnace this weekend to take on Blacktown City in this week’s Saturday morning fixtures.
Our U/14’s face a tough test this weekend, taking on a high-flying Blacktown City side currently sitting second on the ladder, just one point off the league-leaders Sutherland. Blacktown have conceded just eight goals in eight games, and will be a big test for the Flame’s front-line.
Our U/15’s will be looking to grab another three points this weekend after their narrow loss to high-flying Sutherland a few weeks ago. They take on a Blacktown City squad who are yet to earn a point after eight games.
Our U/16’s will go into their game confident in collecting another three points. They take on Blacktown City who have just one win registered this season.
