Match Reports, Previews, SOMETHING ELSE

South Coast Flame will face up to Western Rage in Round 7 at Ian McLennan Park on Saturday.

The Flame continued their tough start to the campaign with a 7-0 defeat to league leaders Fraser Park last week.

The side also went out of the FFA Cup going down to NSW NPL 1 outfit Sutherland Sharks on Tuesday night.

Western Rage have also had a difficult start to the season winning just one of their opening six games.

This was their first match of the season against the current bottom side in the division Western NSW.

This current run may give Flame hope heading into this one with the Rage conceding the equal most goals in the division at this stage.

South Coast also have precedent on their side having picked up a win when the sides met last season.

The Flame may just fancy their chances heading into this weekend.

The under-20s also fell to defeat against Fraser Park last weekend going down 2-1.

This was the side’s lowest margin of defeat so far this year.

The Rage have also conceded the most goals in the competition, which may give the Flame an incentive heading into this weekend.
